Am I at Risk for Cardiac Issues ?
Question by skyhi73: Am I at risk for cardiac issues ?
I am 37 yom, 6ft 2in, 213, fit build , workout 6 days a week. I recently had physical, my Chol was 220 mg/dl, range on high end is 200mg/dl. My LDChol was 140 mg/dl, high end range is 130 mg/dl.
I eat oatmeal everyday, and eat healthy and exercise. I wasnt into getting on meds right now. Anyone know if this is warning sign or extremely high to warrant cardiac issues? Just wondering. Thanks! Oh yeah , my LD/HDL is 3.3 , range is 0.0-3.5

you are on the high of all your readings, working out is great. If numbers do not improve by the time you are 40, I think meds are in order.

soz didnt understand a thing there but apparently guys are naturally more at risk at heart problems and women are more at risk of certain types of cancers, all i can say is just be healthy be more active and do simple things to help ya like dnt buy sugar so ya cnt use it on ya breakfast or tea etc. its the little things that count . oh and plenty of water is a good one
