Fish oil is supposed to help with ADHD in Children and adults. Does it? What happenend when you changed it?

It didn’t work, things got worst! I’m and adult with ADHD and fish oil doesn’t work for me either. But that being said, each person is different as well, what might not work for myself and kids might work for your child! Basically the only way to find out is to try it and see what happens! Good luck to you, hopefully it works out for you!

I know quite a few people who have done just that – and the degree to which they were satisfied with the change depends on the severity of the ADHD. Let’s face it, some kids are given meds they really don’t need. In other words, if they have a really bad case, it might be a bad idea…
Also, if you are going to give this little idea a try, find a fish oil supplement for kids that only contains DHA. The EPA in fish oil inhibits clotting, and in kids who tend to rough house and such, they bruise like the dickens – not to mention, at that age thinning the blood has no benefit what so ever, and its the DHA that has the effect you are after any how…
